Just to update all of you that have ever been on this website as to what’s been going on in Terase and I’s life. Since Christmas (apparently my last post…eek), quite a bit has changed. In May, we received an email about a Registrar position available at Lake Ann Camp in Lake Ann, MI. Through prayer, we decided on Terase applying for it. We received the email on a Wednesday, Terase phone interviewed on Friday, and the following Tuesday, she was hired not as the Registrar but as the Office Manager. We found out later that day that Lake Ann had hired one of our friends that we worked with at Lake Ann in 2002 when we were counselors here. So 2 weeks later I packed up Terase and sent her to Michigan to begin working.

In the meantime I finished my school year out at Northview Middle School working as BD associate and drumline instructor. I then began working for the rest of June at the high school prepping the baseball and softball fields like I have for the last 3 summers. We figured since I had a job in Iowa, then I better stay there and work on finding a job in Michigan and getting our house ready for sale or rent.

In the process the camp has hired me to be their new drummer and start working on programming for a fall middle school retreat called Exiled. I also will be joining the staff as an intern in a program called L.I.F.T. (Leaders in Field Training). This will also gain me 18 credits toward my Master’s Degree from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA.
