After about 5 years of not owning my own drumset because of space in our condo and just having access to a decent one at church, I own a Taye StudioBirch drumset. The color is a natural to black burst and I’m telling she is a beauty. Not only does she look good, the sound is A-MAZING!! Maybe it’s because I have played on low quality drums for most my life but this thing rumbles. I am still trying to get my bass drum to thump and my need to switch from the Dynation batter head it came with to my favorite, Evans EMAD Batter head.

So when I am going to use this new drumset? Great question! This isn’t too widely known, but I have just been picked up by a highly known band in the Christian ranks, but maybe you have heard of them….Casting Crowns!

Ok…just kidding (maybe one day)! HAHA! But I am in the process of joining a band from the Des Moines area and have another idea for starting another band from church. So my goal is to be gigging within a year. I absolutely love leading people in worship so we will where this goes.
